Although, I have not worked as a traveling nurse for a long time, I am delighted to share
with you about my experience as a travel nurse. The staff at Prairie Travelers has responded
quickly to my questions and concerns. I have been treated with fairness and respect. They
have made me feel welcomed and protected as a member of their team and because of that,
my goal is to represent our care team in the most professional and positive manner that I
can at each individual assignment.
I was truly apprehensive about my first assignment scheduled at the end of December in 2005 at Roundup
Memorial Hospital. The staff was caring, thoughtful and willing to orient me. They too, made me feel
welcomed and accepted as a part of their team. A warm "thank you" to the doctors, nurses, radiologist
and lab personnel and most importantly "Alisa" my right hand C.N.A..
My experience was absolutely rewarding! Today, I am scheduled in Roundup again. I look forward working
with my new found friends and colleagues.

Prairie Travelers has given me the opportunity to experience a variety of nursing experiences in
numerous locations throughout Montana while still working for the same company. I am building a
rapport and valid work experience with a wonderful, caring staff who truly understand and care
about my needs to be independent in choosing shifts/assignments that will fit with family
commitments and other outside interests.
For the first time, I have enjoyed my professional work as a registered nurse because it is cohesive
and harmonious with other aspects of my life.

I am a Licensed Practical Nurse and have worked off and on for Prairie
Travelers the past two years. I have been treated so very well by Barb and her
staff - they are awesome - a true team with their employees - always willing
and able to do the best they can for us.
When ever I have had to stay out of town on an assignment, I like being able
to go to the motel desk and say who I am and that I am with Prairie Travelers
-I am handed the key with a smile - no hassles.
I really like the reception I get at the facilities. I have been told several
times that Prairie Travelers has good nurses!!! That tells me a lot about
Prairie Travelers and us!!
